"Lord of war" - now here's something fresh for a gun crazy movie, unlike the others, this movie actually deals with the business of buying & selling weapons. It is an extremely compelling tale with fucking excellent acting performances, great dialogue and dark humor in the middle of the gripping drama that revolves around Nicolas Cage and his character, Yuri. Cage makes Yuri into one of the most complicated and intellectually fascinating characters of 2005 by giving the gun runner his attitude, dark sense of humor, guilt, love for his family, euphoria for completing the deal, fear of who he does business with and the tension he feels while eluding the law. All in all worth the time...2hrs plus to be exact.

"12 monkeys" - Now here's a movie i haven't seen in quite a while, i remembered it to be preety good that's why i bought it, that & also it came in one of those 3 in 1 dvd's with "Sin City" & "Hostage" filling the list. James Cole (Bruce Willis) is a 21st century convict living in a hellhole prison sometime in the 2020s. In order to reduce his sentence, or even obtain a full pardon, he "volunteers" to travel back in time to the 1990s to obtain a pure sample of the virus so that modern science can analyze it. Cole's trip takes him to 1990, where he is incarcerated in a Maryland asylum under the care of psychiatrist Kathryn Railly (Madeleine Stowe). One of Cole's fellow inmates is a totally off-the-wall nutcase named Jeffrey Goines (Brad Pitt), the son of renowned virologist Leland Goines (Christopher Plummer), a man whose name is featured prominently in future headlines.

Twelve Monkeys spans four time periods: 1917 in the trenches of World War One, 1990 in Maryland, 1996 in Maryland and Philadelphia, and the 2020s deep beneath Philadelphia. For the most part, 12 monkeys is a maze of plot twists and turns. Yet, despite all the hiccuping through time, the story is neither exceptionally obtuse nor hard to follow. In fact, it's possible to make shrewd guesses about some of what's going to happen. Despite all it's complexity it's another worthwhile piece, 2hrs plus also.

Had one of the longest night reaching up to double digits on booze in belading. And for the first time barely making it back past customs due to the curfew. Highlights of the trip besides the booze & tits would be Marco's hillarious attempt to pick up sum chick in malay, seriously has anyone ever encountered a filipino trying to converse in bahasa malaysia? It will crack u up.. Once we got out of the customs, drinking continued all the way to Tk where we met up with Fortune. Oh yea i did run into adi the girls. It's nice to see familiar faces when ur pissed.

After Tk we made it to the pool house round 12+ & left round 4am. Yet another lesson learned, never gamble drunk... it will burn a hole in ur pocket. Despite my clumsy attempt to get back into house, i actually made to the shower before passing out in bed.
